    This only affects produce which use PLU barcodes.
    We currently don’t catalog these barcodes, which can be 4 or 5 digits. Regular conventinoal food is 4 digits while GMO and organic will be 5 digits. You are correct, an 8 in front = GMO, a 9 in front = Organic.

    We plan to implement a system for this in the future.
